Our Story
Plant Powered,
Purpose Driven
Plantd is a plant-based skincare company based in Vancouver, Canada. We proudly formulate and produce every product here. We prioritize your body and the planet and never test our products on animals. Every product starts with an ingredient chosen for a reason, sourced from people we know by name, and packaged to be used again.
Our roots run deep.
Nature-Led, From The Start
Plants were skincare's original laboratory. People spent generations learning what worked through trial and careful observation, long before anyone called it science. Herbalists, midwives and Indigenous knowledge keepers passed that knowledge forward, generation to generation.
We formulate from the Pacific Northwest, surrounded by rainforest, coastline, moss growing on nearly everything. That abundance comes with responsibility: to notice what's already here, and to use it with care. That's where every ingredient decision starts, long before anything goes into a jar.
Skin has always known how to heal itself, given the right support. Formulating well, to us, means listening to that history first, and confirming it with today's tools.

Built By People Who Helped Build The Category
Plantd was founded by Shaune Bowers and Tricia Stevens, who spent three decades inside The Body Shop and Lush Cosmetics. They worked the manufacturing floor. They campaigned for industry change. They listened to what staff and customers wanted. Those years shaped what they believe skincare should be.
- Formulations that are genuinely kind to skin and to the earth
- A supply chain that centers the growers and producers
- A brand with impact built into it, not added on after
That knowledge is in every jar.
